Like the previous article posted earlier today, stories like this generate interest but also fall a bit short for me. Any account that does not consider God and the immanence of God in both cosmology and consciousness leaves me a bit cold. By analogy, it's like explaining plant growth while overlooking the sunlight and water that sustains it.

I've met folks who view the world in this shortsighted way. They espouse a sort of mechanistic, nightmarish vision where all ends with your personal death. I tell them with a smile, "When you die you'll see you were wrong and I was right!" (i.e. in believing that we continue with everlasting life).
