Reddit - The amount of noise pollution created by leaf blowers far outweighs their benefit and gas powered blowers should be banned
Here's a pretty good discussion about the noise associated with leaf blowers, especially gas powered leaf blowers. Myself, I feel that Western civilization is brainwashed and that most of the fall 'cleanup' is silly and uneccesary. I'd even go as far to say that it's ugly. All it does is reveal more concrete and tiles that mankind is smothering the Earth with. But clearly, not everyone agrees with me.
The amount of noise these devices create is toxic and potentially dangerous if you happen to be caught off guard while out walking. But our brainwashed masses insist that the fall cleanup is somehow necessary, when in fact it's realy quite arbtrary and IMO contrary to nature.
Perhaps it has something to do with mankind's desire to control nature, which stems back to the Bible. How ironic that today's 'Green' people are acting out ancient bibilical biases!
