I suggested this in my doctoral work way back in the 1990s. The professor I wrote for was a backward, old-school European who didn't take kindly to my ideas, to put it mildly.
This is ironic because Europeans are finally seeing through the vulgar materialism, shoddy philosophy, and culture-bound politics that have characterized the American Psychiatric Association for decades.
