Polish authorities have charged Igor Rogov, a little-known Russian opposition activist living in exile, and his wife Irina Rogova, with espionage for the Russian F.S.B.
The accusations against Rogov, who moved to Poland after Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine, came to light after his wife, Irina, allegedly sent texts in 2023 accusing him of spying on other exiles for the F.S.B., though they initially dismissed the texts as a divorce joke.

Funny how it's often the wife who blows a hostile spy's cover. Either they were lied to from the outset, find out, and just can't take it anymore, or they were in cahoots from the get-go. Either way, marriages forged in the twisted root of espionage can prove to be a weak link in the spies' cover.
Anyone who feels slighted or professionally sabotaged by a hostile spy should focus on the spouse, especially those born and raised in the target country. Any hope for justice would probably come from them. Although some may play the game for the paycheck, putting morality and country aside for their own material security.
